Welcome back faithful Big Brother nation! Well, the house has without a doubt been flipped and the power has shifted immensely… let’s talk about how it all panned out.

Brooklyn and Quinn were the clear two who were affected by the Cedric Blindside. Brooklyn became so bitter to be on the wrong side of the vote. I get she was betrayed but she’s acting like they had to tell her everything that was happening. As if she wouldn’t then go behind their back to tell the Pentagon alliance. Her trash talk showed up even more. Saying things like, “You want to see hell raised, piss off a mother from Texas.” She let the frustration get the best of her and it only continued into the rest of the week.

I still don’t understand why Brooklyn thought it was okay to tell Rubina that she was going home. How can you be so certain that it’s going to play out like that? You better be 100% confident or that will come back to hurt you in a big way.

On the other hand, Quinn just got more emotional. That could partly be because his deepfake advantage went completely to waste, his good friend Cedric went home, or him losing all power in this game (being targeted/losing alliance members). All fair reasons! However, his strategic mindset shifted towards being desperate to regain his footing. For example, when he went back to his alliance with T’kor/Kimo reassuring his spot with them after they dictated the flip. His confidence has been hit hard and he’s scrambling to save himself.

Then the classic Wall HOH competition only seemed to further those emotions for Quinn. Let’s talk about the memorable competition! It was very enjoyable to watch and it was probably my favorite HOH competition so far. So after the blindside, everything was on the table and the slate was wiped clean. Therefore, it felt like everybody was saying that they wanted to win to protect themselves. Yet, there could only be one!

I could have told you Angela was going to drop first. Though, I don’t know why her crying/getting emotional surprised me. I found it funny when Joseph threw the competition because he knew he couldn’t outlast the others and didn’t want to get nasty just by staying up there. Only to make it funnier by slipping on the green slime like a cartoon character on a banana peel. I can only imagine that the slime, goo, and weather make it exponentially more difficult. Whether it’s the mental factor of being able to withstand the elements or the physical part of not being able to grip the handle.

To be honest, my prediction going into this was that Cam would pull it out. I thought that logically he would be the best athlete considering he was a Division One football player (at my alma mater of Penn State lol). I will say, I was thoroughly impressed by Quinn’s performance. At first glance, you might not picture him doing so well in this challenge. Yet, he proved a lot of us wrong. I guess it’s inevitable at this point that Tucker would win another competition. He’s seriously unstoppable at this point. Personally, I am happy that Quinn didn’t take the deal that Tucker offered him. That’s because I don’t think Tucker would have remained true to it and put him up as a nomination.

That’s another example of Quinn’s emotions being at the forefront of his decisions. He was so amped up to try and beat him. However, Tucker made it clear later that there was probably no way he was going to beat him.

It was interesting to me that Kimo wanted Tucker to win too. I get you guys just flipped the house and want to keep the control on your side. Yet, you’re letting Tucker coast further and further along in this game. My advice would be not to get oblivious about that. Another thing was Rubina, after not being evicted, was riding that high when Tucker got the win. It will be interesting to see where his alliances stand in the next few weeks.

Just as Tucker had laid it out, the three from the Pentagon alliance were put on the block (Brooklyn, Quinn, and Cam). It’s exactly what he should have done, to be honest. It doesn’t burn bridges with people other than the people he’s already been going against. It also keeps his new alliance members (6th Avenue) safe. You have to give it to Tucker. He’s performing when the lights are the brightest, forming the right alliances, and has strategized effectively. The cockiness and confidence haven’t seemed to hurt him yet.

I think the reason Tucker aimed for Brooklyn this week was because Quinn was no longer a threat to him. If you just looked at the hostility in the conversations, it dramatically shifted this week compared to previous ones. I think Tucker recognized that he was without an advantage (which he wasted) and that he could beat him in any given competition. I believe Brooklyn was the smartest pick at the given moment. Especially because she was a “snake” in the Five Points alliance and she was the “voice” of the Pentagon alliance.

From Quinn’s perspective, I totally get why he would be skeptical and uncertain of anything Tucker does. Yet, I don’t think there is much else you could do to combat it. It moreso seemed like Brooklyn/Quinn’s strategy was to surrender to Tucker and reveal information to him.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have found the meme of the season. Of course, from the one and only, Angela. It comes in her reaction to the Charcuterie board incident and Brooklyn eating it. First of all, it was a gift for her during her HOH week… why wouldn’t you eat it some time then? I searched online that usually charcuterie boards are only good for around 7-10 days. By the time she wrapped up being a have-not, it would be nearly over two weeks. Yet, on the other hand, I get it was her gift and they should have consulted her beforehand. However, I wouldn’t change a thing because it made for an all-time moment from an all-time Big Brother contestant. Her mainly blaming Brooklyn was funny too… because many others were also munching on it.

They’re bringing back all the throwback competitions this week. Next up is Hide-n-go veto! Again, this is the first season of Big Brother that I am truly watching. Yet, Hide-n-go veto is one of the classic competitions that sometimes would pop up on my feeds. So I am grateful that I actually got the chance to watch one live and it did not disappoint!

My personal M.V.P. for this challenge had to be Joseph. The more I watch him, the more I become a fan of him. Notably in this competition, I found it hilarious how he hid his card in probably the worst/least thoughtful spot… then nearly proceeded to win. Next, Joseph recognizes that this is a huge social game. Therefore, he saw the mess in the house and decided to clean up instead of looking for any of the cards. Lastly, he moves around and runs like a cartoon character. Which I find hilarious to watch.

(this post absolutely popped off)

I thought Makensy’s hiding spot in the planter was by far the best. Yet, Tucker found it on his literal first go around. This guy is unreal, are you kidding me!? Eventually, Tucker would win the Veto Competition…shocker. He just knows how to win and makes it look easy.

Brooklyn used this challenge not only to try to win… but to seriously get some revenge by making a mess of other people’s things. While it’s unnecessary or frustrating for the players, it made for a fun competition. That probably won’t help your already damaged social game though. Yet, Quinn got blamed for it in the end so maybe it didn’t hurt her too badly.

Tucker came after Quinn pretty aggressively after the competition. I thought it wasn’t necessary. Then I thought…is he putting up a facade to maybe make others think that he is the target? Not a pawn? If that’s true and it paid off, then Tucker’s move to use the veto on Quinn was incredibly smart.

Moving into the live eviction episode, I am happy to see that people are starting to take notice of all Tucker’s sketchy tendencies and that talks are brewing on how to scheme against him.

Rubina is noticing how it kind of stinks being linked to Tucker with the track record he has. She’s starting to look out for herself by creating relationships/alliances for her… not Tucker. Then the 6th Avenue alliance noticed how much Tucker hangs out with other people outside of the alliance (Makensy and Leah). You have to ask yourself if it’s nothing or something you need to keep an eye on. There’s also a good possibility of jealousy there from Rubina lol.

Although, Tubina is officially here because they are smoochin’ more and more.

In these couple of episodes we’ve really seen the Pentagon blow up…the alliances that is!!!! Chelsie confronted Quinn about revealing the alliance to others, Cam started turning towards working with Tucker, Brooklyn/Quinn sold each other out to Tucker, and their numbers are rapidly decreasing. It shows how quickly things can change!

ree

It was made pretty evident if Brooklyn didn’t win, she would go home. What about in the scenario she did win?! Although I am a biased fan of Cam, I wouldn’t have been opposed to him being evicted if it came down to him and Chelsie. That’s because I think Chelsie brings a lot more to Big Brother. Maybe it’s harsh, but Cam just really hasn’t done much of anything besides existing.

By the way, that was another awesome live competition. At first, I was thinking this might take a while and that they would all struggle. Yet, the producers did a nice job of making the clues easier as they went on. With how it was filmed, it was cool that the viewers could play along with it. It did get to a point where they were just guessing until Chelsie finally got it haha.

ree

As I mentioned, it led to Brooklyn being evicted. Though, not before she laid down an important message to the group. One that I am happy she mentioned! She said, “Nobody is going to beat him. I will be a target and I will be on the block repeatedly. You all are playing for second place.” I write that because I agree that at this point, how do you beat Tucker? It’s a big wake-up call that you need to find a way to get rid of him. How would you strategize to get him out?

Maybe next week we start seeing plans being put into motion! I am excited to talk about it soon because it’s shaping up to be a good one.
