I was able to watch the Men Tell All episode on Tuesday night and I enjoyed how down-to-earth everyone was. They didn’t try to put on any facades or put on a show. Instead, they were keeping the main thing… the main thing. See what I did there?

Here are some of my quick takeaways:

  1. Jesse Palmer’s prank was uncalled for! He did not need to cause a panic like that haha. Maybe I am way too gullible and shouldn’t fall for this show’s antics as often. I can’t help it though.

  1. LET’S GO BRETT… he got a LOT of love. All very deserved too. I hope this isn’t the end of him in the Bachelor Nation. He deserved more screen time and still does. His reaction to all the love and out-of-pocket messages was super wholesome too.

  1. Aaron might have expected his own brother to stick up for him when it came to the “self-control” book giving. Not at all! He called him out and that’s what I call loving accountability. During the season, Aaron came off as self-entitled and as if he knew better than everyone else. Hopefully, he can grow from this experience.

  1. It felt like at times during the season, Jeremy couldn’t stand Devin. Making faces or scoffing at things he did. Yet, I love how he backed him up during the show. It surprised me at first. Calling Sam M/Thomas N Mean Girls was the perfect comparison. You know he was just saving that line for the perfect moment. The crowd and the Bachelor Nation absolutely ate it up.

    1. I felt like Jeremy kind of came off as a little cocky at first… but the last couple of episodes have shown me that he is a lot more empathetic than I ever thought.

  1. Sam M sort of owned up to his garbage. He apologized but then also made excuses. I was hoping he would fully own up to his words/actions instead of putting up the tough guy act. He did say his delivery was bad and he can work on that. Props for growth. Also, I hate the idea of blaming the producers as if you didn’t say or do all those things on the show.

  1. Jonathan totally deserves Bachelor in Paradise! Especially with how far he got and how much of a crowd favorite he became. I do believe he will take what he learned from this experience into Paradise.

  1. Hakeem is the absolute man. Whether it was his reaction during the real lives of Mormon wives, the tarantula crawling all over him, or the invite to Paradise! He always seems to bring the energy and he’s someone I don’t think I would ever get tired of watching. I can’t wait to see him at paradise and I hope he will find a person that will see past the fun, energetic side of him.

  1. Even though I am still bummed at how they announced it, I am excited for Grant as the next Bachelor. He seems very down-to-earth, humble, and excited about this experience. Just the sheer fact that he’s had over 10,000 applications already gives me confidence that he will find what he’s looking for.

  1. Jenn was a great presence in the episode last night. She was encouraging and friendly to most of the gentlemen out there! However, I loved her initiative to call Sam M out. Not everyone would have the confidence to do so, but she didn’t hold back. She wasn’t going to let him off easy, especially after all the blaming and excuses he pulled.

    1. Lastly, being the first Asian American Bachelorette and representing that community is so special. It’s an awesome moment, and one to be celebrated by the show and its fans.

That’s all I’ve got! Enjoy your long weekend and Labor Day :)
