The Big Reveals - The Bachelorette - Season Premiere (Pt. 2)

Entrances/Introductions

I think it’s fair to say that the entrances are one of the best parts of this television series. They simply never get old. It’s a great way to plunge right into the season and drown the Bachelorette/ Bachelor with contestants who will all fight for the right to fall in love with that person. Not even giving you a second to breathe or collect yourself. It’s go time, right from the start. I also love that there are so many unique, creative ways to do an entrance. There is always something someone can do that makes their entrance one of a kind. We saw a couple like that in Jenn’s season! 

I know there have been hundreds of entrances now in all the seasons that have aired. If there is an entrance/introduction that you think takes the cake, comment about it and I will check it out :)

Alright, let’s get into the most memorable entrances from the season premiere. There will be a short list of entrances I leave out so that this blog doesn’t go on for ages.

Marcus

We kicked it off with Marcus and his 3 big dreams in life: To serve his country, go to space, and find his person. My first question… how do we get this guy to space if he hasn’t already? Just kidding! His story of serving our country is pretty incredible, making it hard not to root him on. So far, he seems like a very kind-hearted guy and he made a solid first impression. I will note he got a long introduction compared to the other gentleman. I wonder if that says anything. 

Also, for some reason, he went viral for what he was packing in his suitcase. He had a backup American flag ready to go in the suitcase while one was already on the wall. The dude stays patriotic.

Marvin

Marvin spoke romantically in French to Jenn… and I have no idea if she understood any word he said.

Sam N

I said it last night to Lauren and I cannot stop seeing it. Sam N looks very similar to Zayn Malik. 

He basically straight up said he was a love virgin… which is quite the blunt first impression. Maybe that will show that his intentions in a relationship aren’t fake. That he’s authentic with how he loves a partner. He did say, “The girl I make my girlfriend, I want to make my wife.” We will see how this bold tactic plays out. 

He also pulled out an eyelash curler in his get-to-know-me video. No judgment as to how anyone beautifies themselves, just didn’t see that coming! Homie wants to look good.

Grant

We love a man with rhythm and vocals. If you’re bad at beatboxing, like myself, this might be a cringy way to make an entrance. If you’re good at it, like Grant, then this is an awesome way to do it. This dude is confident, no doubt. Also, a former baller.

Sam M

What a doozie this guy is. He really does have that southern charm. The way I kind of read him was that he is a very calm presence but still super confident. That’s a hard thing to pull off. Jenn described him as a “sexy cowboy” and a hottie. By the way, at this point, I think Jenn has used the descriptor of hot/hottie multiple times. It won’t be the last too.

He mentioned he was formerly engaged, got cheated on, and couldn’t repair the relationship. I wonder if this trauma he faced will ever come back up. Will it come up in a good way or a bad way? Or how long will it take for him to bring it up?

He’s already been given comparisons to the legend, Tyler Cameron. Personally, I don’t see it… yet.

Entrances that involved beverages of sorts

There were a lot of these. As for Jenn, do you think this makes it less or more memorable? 

Someone brought up shot-o’clock, there were ginger shots for ginger hair, champaign popping, there were shots taken out of syringes from Brian, etc. 

Brian at least brought a ton of energy and one of the best memes so far.

Jonathan

This is probably one of the more unique entrances I have ever watched. Carried in on a stretcher, in a medical gown, and with bandages covering his face. All to then claim that he was lovesick.

It’s a great play on Jenn’s career as an aspiring PA. You cannot say that he didn’t try and she’s going to remember him for sure. 

Especially cause he flashed his bare butt to her too. That’s probably something you can’t unsee.

Tomas A

Puppies will never not work. It will never get old. Chicks dig dogs. Even Jesse Palmer enjoyed the puppies. That’s one way to get to my heart right there.

Aaron

He entered in on a motorcycle and Jenn thought it was again… hot. His brother is Noah Erb who was on The Bachelorette previously but got engaged to Abigail from Bachelor in Paradise. Considering he’s probably talked to his brother about his Bachelorette experience, maybe he has a lot of background knowledge to succeed on this show. He’s got a competitive advantage against the other gentlemen already.

Similar to Sam M’s story, he got married at the age of 21 and divorced. I’m intrigued to see how this conversation will come up and how Jenn will take it.

Jeremy

Jeremy revved his car and came around the corner in a red/black Corvette. Quite the flex. Then he quickly mentioned that he wasn’t compensating for everything by mentioning his… you know what. I won’t lie, I found this part kind of difficult to watch. I have never heard of something like this working. The first part of the car was cool, but the coolness of it dwindled with that comment. I even think Jenn was thrown off by that comment. 

One of the biggest takeaways from Jeremy’s entrance was Brian’s reaction to it! Brian mentioned how he doesn’t like someone flexing like that but he’s not worried about it… even though it sounded like he was very much worried about it. There’s no way this will bubble into anything bigger…right?!?

Dylan

Dylan pulled out an immediate connection by mentioning that he was studying to be a doctor, like Jenn who is currently in PA school. Dylan could be a person with Jenn who she could genuinely talk about medical things with. Whereas other guys, maybe not so much. Living life together might be an easier transition than the other guys. I will say that he did look so much bigger than Jenn lol. Especially when they hugged. It’s not a bad thing at all, It made me laugh.

Devin

While he might be loud, he is 100% himself. It seems like he’s not ashamed of his personality or where he came from. With that I say, good for him! I noticed Devin making her laugh more than the other guys too. Jenn was definitely digging him.

His family background is unique as he does come from a household of a single mom. With that being said, maybe he knows how to care for/respect the women around him even more! Despite the big personality, I can see him having a soft emotional side to him too.

Balloon dude/Hakeem 

The entrance of the night award goes to Balloon Dude… I mean Hakeem. 10/10 for creativity! It gave me UP (the Disney movie) vibes. He pulled out phrases like, “Floating on cloud nine.” Even if it was pretty planned, it’s an incredible entrance. I think it even shows that he cares about making a good first impression too. Hakeem is an all-time good vibe. The best part was him walking around the house/complex with the balloons and them popping at every turn. I hope Jenn sees him as more than just a fun person to hang out with!

Can't wait to get to know more of these Jenn-tleman... get it. I got that joke from Sam N, I didn't come up with it.
