Coming off of Tucker’s HOH week, I am assuming he’s feeling on top of the world. He established a solid alliance, diminished the opposing alliance (the Pentagon), and furthered his romantic relationship with Rubina. Also, that goes without mentioning that he’s also a challenge beast. There’s no way that all crumbles and falls apart… right?

I found it quite interesting how many people were emotional to see Brooklyn go. I guess I should consider the fact that they’ve been spending non-stop time together for the past four or so weeks. Leah was emotional to evict her. Maybe it had to do with the fact they slept/hung out in the same room together. She also stated that she didn’t want to be on the wrong side of the vote, so that’s fair. Then Kimo was pretty upset too. I get they had the collective alliance together, but it didn’t seem to be anything significant. Well, Kimo might just be an emotional person.

Question for you! Who should Cam align with now that his alliance is starting to fall apart? How about the person who just recently put him on the block? Well, that’s exactly what he did. I guess if you can’t beat them, join them. I don’t know whether it’s him just trying to be boys with Tucker or if he wants to work with him.

I will say, I am proud of Cam for actually strategizing more. The first couple of weeks, he didn’t do much of anything. Yet, he’s stepping into his element and starting to talk game with more and more people.

Moving to the HOH competition, it’s very similar to the animal video compilation HOH a couple of weeks ago. Except, it’s videos of them. At least it’s kind of funny because I was not a fan of the competition. To say it simply, it was boring. It literally took them 3 questions for the entire competition to be over.  I get how you would be into it as a player and focusing hard…but as a fan, it’s not that exciting. Good for T’kor though! She deserved to win and get some spotlight.

Most people were genuinely happy for her too. I mean everyone was literally following her around like little puppies after the competition. However, the 6th Avenue alliance was especially happy and felt pretty safe going into this week. My question for them is, are you sure about that?

By the way, shoutout to Kimo! He’s got some pipes. Next, a shoutout to the editors because the music mixtape of Kimo singing was pretty sick. They were having fun this week. Another example was the montage of Angela finally being able to eat after the have-not week.

The moment we were all waiting for, who will be the AI instigator? Who did America vote for? It was funny to see everyone on social media speculate and reason about who was given the secret advantage. Eventually, we were told Tucker won this upgrade. This man cannot stop winning.

I thought it would be fun for someone like Joseph to be voted. It gives someone some more spotlight. Joseph is someone who deserves it and he knows a lot of information. So, he could spread some really good false information. Whatever, Tucker has been an agent of chaos already and I assumed he would continue that with this role. I love the twist of the fans deciding how much he gets too. It gives us more stake in the game!

As for Tucker, his initial usage of the advantage didn’t go to plan. He used an AI Quinn to call out the Rubina/Tucker showmance. Tucker was just doing that so that they didn’t have to hide their relationship in the house anymore. However, Rubina took it as a threat to get her out and she took it pretty hard. How ironic was it that Tucker consoled her when he was the one that did it lol. I guess it paid off because they ended up kissing to make everything better again haha.

T’kor put Makensy, Cam, and Tucker on the block when it came to nominations. It seemed like she was teetering on the side of being safe but still effective. For Makensy, she is a clear challenge threat and seems to get along with everyone. She also offered to put Angela on the block, which T’kor sort of took offense to. I don’t know who else Makensy was supposed to say though. Cam is also a challenging threat and good socially. I think the main reason was simply that he was in the other alliance. On the other hand, Tucker did say he would go up as a pawn, even if he doesn’t want to.

That move was probably the start of his downfall.

It was confusing to me why Tucker was so disappointed and hurt to go on the block. He did that entirely to himself! He should have made it even more clear that you don’t want to go up on the block. In the past, he welcomed the idea of going on the block and was confident about it. Almost like he normalized it. Like that’s just something he does and everyone in the house is used to it. That chaos factor from before came back to hurt him.

With Wednesday night's episode being two hours long, they were able to show a lot more than we normally see. While it might have been long, it was refreshing to see some new things. For example, Leah absolutely friend-zoning Quinn and all the punishments after the Veto competition.

Let’s talk about that competition! This one was much more enjoyable than the HOH one. Partly because it brought back the classic tradition of punishment/rewards. I thought this challenge was a nice blend of strategy and skill. You had to carefully decide which target you wanted to hit and then skillfully execute. For example, with other contestants missing the targets entirely, Cam didn’t see the necessity of going for crazy shots. He just took the easy ones right in front of him. Which helped him eventually win this competition.

The fact that it came down to a shoot-off between Cam and Tucker made for edge-of-your-seat intensity. Once Tucker lost, his move to hand over his $5,000 reward for T’kor’s punishment (BB AI assist) made him even more likable. Not that I was rooting for Angela to end up with a punishment, I knew that it would make for incredible television. Cam is slowly, but surely making a name for himself in this game too. Proud of him for grabbing the power of veto.

I won’t lie, I found the rest of Tucker’s AI Instigator advantage to be underwhelming. The messages never really seemed to hit with the rest of the people in the house. I think because word travels so fast in the house, it’s hard to cause chaos or try to spread misinformation. Like everyone already knows everything. Instead, he used the power to get more laughs. Tucker already had a lot on his plate this past week, so I don’t blame him for dropping the ball sort of.

The only punishment that I thought was bad was Joseph’s 24-hour isolation. Having to listen to Matt would be hilarious at first but quickly get old. Picturing Angela having to do that makes me laugh hard. Personally, for me, Angela’s “decontamination” punishment wasn’t that bad. She was able to do it alongside her friends and get a little messy while doing so. Though, I get how some people wouldn’t like it. It’s possible Tucker’s punishment didn’t seem that bad because he had so much fun with it too.

Now that T’kor has to rename another nomination, I wonder if they wondered why Quinn was defending/protecting Leah so much. I figured they might catch onto it. They have to be careful with Quinn, he just has a history of switching sides and being unloyal to his allies.

With saying that, his move to throw Angela under the bus was a great one. Angela and her paranoia just couldn’t help herself. She probably had an easy ride to the end with her alliance but she threw it all away by trying to attack Tucker. Who has been her number-one supporter and literal savior in this game. I get it, she’s trying to play her own game, but this is a drastic way to do it. How about leading the charge to get someone else out? It’s funny it all stemmed from Tucker trying to protect her too.

I don’t know who Tucker would choose if it came to Angela and Rubina. Would he go for his showmance or his day one? What do you think?

Maybe he would stick with Angela because he was still fighting for Leah to be put on the block. While chaotic, Tucker is true to his word and himself.

Due to T’kor not appreciating or listening to Tucker’s… he is frustrated beyond belief. I do think he is recognizing how bleak the situation is getting for him. Yet, you have to also recognize that you can’t dictate everything. He is legit pissed they won’t do what he says. Which might be a little selfish.

ree

He just continued to spiral throughout the live episode. Starting with T’kor, then to his talks with Rubina, saying that he is playing varsity while everyone else is playing JV, and then the actual eviction. At some point, I think he accepted the fact that he was going home if he didn’t win.

While Tucker is a polarizing character for the fans to watch, he is a humongous threat to others in the house. Good for them for not getting complacent and seizing the opportunity to rally against him. Chelsie should get credit for putting together votes against him and Quinn deserves some credit for putting up a smokescreen with Angela on the block. On the flip side of it, T’kor probably had a pretty brutal week. She lost an alliance member and power in the game.

Now for the ultimate, AI arena live competition. That’s by far the worst Tucker has performed in a Big Brother challenge. I get why people thought he was throwing because it was drastically bad. However, even if he was good, I don’t know if he would have beaten Makensy. She cooked. Props to Angela too because she wasn’t far behind.

There were some intriguing reactions to the result of the AI competition. T’kor is visibly not happy with the result, Tucker very calmly asks for help, Angela panics/emphasizes that it’s her dream to be here, and the group calls for a meeting to discuss. I wish they actually showed us what they were talking about in that room to see some more of the thought processes.

Ultimately, Tucker was evicted from the house. As a viewer, it’s a huge loss. As a player, it’s an excellent move. I think it goes without saying that Tucker will go down as an all-time Big Brother player. He dominated competitions, sacrificed himself countless times as a pawn, and brought some iconic moments to the show. For example, when he could have taken himself easily off the block but saved Angela! I hope this isn’t the last we see of him. Whether that’s with Big Brother or with another show.

Even though I said I was underwhelmed with how he used the AI instigator… he deserves the top prize of $20,000 for all he brought to the game. So sadly, it is time for us to say goodbye to an icon. Luckily, we still have Angela. Who will take Tucker’s place as top dog?! We will find out next week and I will talk to you then!
